Welcome to the Federal Employment Law Practice of Emily Kathryn Tyler

As a former career public servant, I understand the value and importance of government service. With over 14 years of experience as an attorney and human resources professional, I am well-versed in the unique laws, regulations, and processes applicable to the federal workforce.  I believe strongly in efficient and effective government, and I also believe in upholding employee rights and protections, which were designed to ensure a professional civil service that can effectively serve the public interest without fear of unlawful retribution and influence.

Three legal books, a notebook, and a black pen are stacked on the desk of a federal employment lawyer, representing the advocacy and support they can offer to government employees.
